Our Leadership

Chairperson: Tuesday Sauer
Tuesday has long been a leader within the Bertie County GOP. As Chair, she brings dedication, vision, and a steady commitment to growing the party and ensuring conservative voices are heard.

Vice Chairperson: Phil Lunsford
Phil has been actively involved in the party for years, consistently attending meetings, supporting events, and representing Bertie County as a delegate at the annual NCGOP convention. His energy and dedication make him an invaluable part of the leadership team.

Treasurer: Diane M. Barber
Diane brings over 30 years of professional experience in the insurance industry, where she retired as Senior Vice President of an international brokerage firm. She holds both a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University. A Bertie County resident for the past five years, Diane has become active in local politics since her retirement. She is also a passionate animal advocate, deeply involved in animal rescue efforts. Her financial expertise and community commitment ensure that the party’s resources are managed with precision and transparency.

Executive Committee Members

  • Willie Davis – A committed Republican and strong advocate for local values, bringing insight and community presence to the team.
